Halo Online is a fan made game which uses the same game engine on which Halo 3 was made and based on the never finished and only briefly available in Russia Halo Online, however these die-hard fans have spent a lot of time bringing us a fantastic third person shooter full of weapons, vehicles, grenades and even bigger weapons!
The game plays really well and if you’re familiar with Halo it probably won’t be anything groundbreaking to you however it’s got busy servers with plenty of friends (or enemies) to make and plenty of people to destroy within the game itself and although it’s been a long time since we have played Halo this game felt quicker, cleaner and crisper and although we repeatedly got killed by far more skilled players there was no denying how much fun was had.
It is advisable to use a controller although if you’re very skilled and efficient it is possible to play with a mouse and keyboard and still a lot of fun.
The game looks great and is one of the most fun free games available right now, if you enjoy a good shooter and playing against other real players then you cannot miss out on this game.
